    If you stop eating altogether, it may actually be more difficult for you to lose weight. This is because your body enters starvation mode in which it responds to the lower or non-existent intake of calories by using fewer calories. So while you may be tempted to drastically lower your caloric intake for an extended time period, quick weight loss diets should be used only briefly for this reason.

    When you achieve positive results with a quick weight loss diet, do not reward yourself by gorging. Instead, strive to eat balanced and healthy meals while still controlling your caloric intake. In this way you will be more likely to maintain your weight loss instead of gaining back the pounds.

    Remember that hydration is also a key factor. You may find that drinking water will help you to deal with hunger pangs. Overexerting yourself when finished with the diet isn’t recommended. Your body will once again have to get used to the change, even though it felt fine while you were dieting. Your body will experience added stress due to this.

    Losing weight can be kicked into gear with a quick weight loss diet. To enhance your results, supplement these diets with moderate exercise. Even with these quick weight loss diets, you will still need adequate nutrition.

    Take your time getting used to the right amount of calories suggested for how tall you are and what your ideal weight should be.     Another supplement that has diuretic properties is dandelion and many children are warned against using it by their parents although it is pretty harmless, some people have become allergic to using it.     Cascara is a laxative used in many weight loss supplements but any laxative will help a person lose weight just like any other form of ‘purging’ the body of waste and toxins.     One particularly popular herbal weight loss supplement is the extract that can be obtained from green tea which can be found in many products including drinks, vitamins and even as a concentrate in a tablet. Some studies have shown positive results for increased weight loss with the use of green tea extract so long as healthy eating and exercise habits are also being followed.

    Despite the large sums of money spent by people on natural weight loss products, there is still little proof that they are effective in the long term.
